SEAS Computing Facility administers a number of labs which are open to all SEAS students, as well as any student enrolled in a SEAS course. The labs are generally available, except when they are booked for a class. Reserving classroom space must be done in advance.
All labs are quiet zones, cell phone free at all times, and no eating or drinking on a lab station is permitted. Once a class starts it is the instructors prerogative whether or not to allow students to work in the room who are not enrolled in the ongoing course.
It is important to note that saving files locally on a lab machine is generally dangerous. Lab machines are images as needed, and files are not backup up. If you have something you are working on please place it in your home directory. See details in Your Home Directory.
