University Programs

iOS Developer University Program

The iOS Developer University Program is a free program designed for higher education institutions looking to introduce iOS development into their curriculum. In collaboration with the CS Department, SEAS CF has enrolled in the Apple iOS Developer University Program. The program will enable students enrolled in mobile application development classes access to a suite of sophisticated and elegant tools included in the iOS SDK, and a wide-range of resources in the iOS Dev Center. Students participating in the class will have everything they need to create innovative applications for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

Cadence University Program

The George Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Science is a member of the Cadence University Program. This program provides a wide range of high-level electrical engineering design, simulation and analysis tools used by leading developers in the industry and for research.

The products provided through our participation in the Cadence University Program are an essential resource in meeting two of our main educational objectives for the Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduate programs, including:

  • To teach students how to use state-of-the-art computer tools to solve electrical engineering problems
  • To expose students to hands-on engineering experience through laboratory courses

SEAS also uses Cadence products as an essential resource for the graduate Computer Engineering program that focuses on Microelectronics and VLSI Systems.

Course descriptions for both graduate and undergraduate classes using Cadence products include:
