In order to use the SEAS Computing Facility, follow these four steps to set up an account:
- Get your GWID. The GWID is your unique identification number with the university. It is used instead of your Social Security Number. You need your GWID to access multiple resources including student transcripts, the University Time and Reporting System, faculty and staff benefit selection, and much more.
- Establish a GW NetID. Your GW NetID, which serves as your electronic identification on campus, is the first step in your connection to the systems, services and applications that enhance your experience at the university.
- Get your GWorld card. The GWorld card is your official identification card and you are expected to carry it with you at all times.
- Fill out the SEAS Account Request Form online or download and print out a form and drop it off at our office.
