Dear SEAS Community,
SEAS Computing Facility services have transitioned exclusively online and will not be present on campus for walk-in or office/lab support. The staff has been provided with the tools to remotely answer calls to the service desk line (202-994-0123), and will be available on jabber (IP soft phone) for calls and instant messages.
The service desk remote hours of operation starting next week will be Monday - Friday, 8AM-10PM, Saturday - Sunday 10AM - 10PM. For non-urgent requests, we ask that you email [email protected], and a staff member will follow up with you. The team will be able to assist with software/configuration issues remotely if the device in question has internet access. Devices not connected to the internet will be a challenge, but we will attempt to walk you through troubleshooting steps remotely.
No equipment loan/pickup is available at this time. If you or your team has a specific equipment need, please email [email protected], and we will follow up with you on options. If you have already put in a purchase request and are expecting a computer delivery, we will follow up with you with alternative options.
