SEAS Graduation Invitation 2020

Hello SEAS Student,
I hope this message finds you healthy and safe! Last week, President LeBlanc sent an email to update GW students about plans for a university-wide virtual commencement ceremony in May. While I share in his disappointment that we will be unable to celebrate all your accomplishments during an in-person ceremony, I also share his appreciation for your flexibility and adaptability during these uncertain times.
We look forward to celebrating all that you achieved during your time at GW SEAS. It is a testament to your dedication, your commitment to academic goals and your vision for the future. With that in mind, I invite you, your family and friends to the GW SEAS Virtual Graduation Ceremony, which will be streamed via Facebook Live on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 4 p.m. EDT.
In preparation for this celebration, please complete the following forms by 5 p.m. EDT on Monday, May 4:
Graduation Survey
Required for all graduating students, this survey is designed to help GW learn more about the experiences and future plans of our students. Your answers will help us evaluate existing programs, design new ones, and enhance advising of current and future students.
Virtual Ceremony Registration
We are gathering the information needed to announce you as a graduating student during our virtual ceremony. Please complete this registration form to ensure that your name, and its pronunciation, are accurate. Furthermore, please make sure your Diploma Address is up-to-date in GWeb since that is the address we will use to mail you your SEAS medal when we are able to do so.
SEAS | Your Memories Photo Slide Presentation
You have created many special memories throughout your time at GW and the School of Engineering and Applied Science. In an effort to share thise memories, we would like to organize a photo slide presentation to be shared during your graduation ceremony. All photo submission must be in jpeg (or png) format and use the following nomenclature:
Lastname_GWID_ Department (ie. Smith_G12345678_MAE)
More information regarding GW SEAS' Virtual Graduation will be shared in the coming weeks. Congratulations, and Raise High!
Sincerely,
John C. Lach
