The SEAS Computing Facility is the academic computing service unit of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the George Washington University. We are an extension of each SEAS department and are here to support and enable their success. We serve as a liaison and hold a strong partnership between SEAS, the Division of IT (DIT) and Academic Technologies (AT).
We welcome your feedback, comments, ideas and suggestion so please don't hesitate to contact us.
THE MISSION of the SEAS Computing Facility is to support and enable the success of the School of Engineering and Applied Science’s faculty, staff and students through a sustainable, efficient and effective use of information technology. We are committed to continuously innovate and leverage sustainable solutions and technologies that:
Colonial One, GW’s shared high performance computing cluster, has significantly expanded computing resources for SEAS’ researchers and is supported by the SEAS Computing Facility, among other staff in the Division of Information Technology, the Computational Biology Institute and the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. Now our researchers have access to a 2.1 PFlops cluster with 2 PB lustre scratch storage.
