We manage most software purchases for SEAS, especially those required for instructional purposes. We partner with other schools on campus to share the cost of licenses when possible to provide more value to faculty and students.
Resources for Students
Most of our applications are available for students to downland and install on personal computers. For a complete list, please see our software licenses.
All computers deployed and managed by the SEAS Computing Facility come with standard applications including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional, IE, Firefox and Chrome. Contact us if you need a specific engineering application to be installed. Application installations can be done remotely if they're managed by the SEAS Computing Facility.
Contact us to install supported applications on university-owned computers. Network licensed applications must be able to communicate with the correct license server to run.
We manage numerous software licenses, which enables faculty and students to share concurrent licenses for various applications.
